Simunitions

Simunitions are a specific type of ammunition that is used to train police force and military forces. These rounds are highly useful for training without injury, but at the same time providing a realistic training practice that other training devices cannot. Simunition rounds are used in modified weaponry to ensure that no “real” rounds are fired off, and to make it completely safe for those on training grounds. There are two main types of simunition cartridges available: Reduced energy and full energy.

There are many different types of Simunition and they are each used for different reasons and have their own benefits. The types are listed below:

FX Force on Force System is a special simunition that uses detergent based “ammunition” to stain areas where the fired rounds land. This means that those being trained can easily determine how accurate their shots are and how lethal they may be. These are useful because they can be used in standard firearms. This is one of the most popular and common training systems used. When purchasing this system for your company keep in mind that complete gear is recommended for safety. FX safety vests, arm guards, groin guards, and helmets are all designed to prevent the trainee from becoming injured.

CQT system simunition is a type of training ammo that is low cost and effective for training. CQT bullets are potentially life threatening if they are not used properly.

Other types of simunition kits are easy to install and worthwhile to purchase for anyone that is looking to safely train for the military or police force.

FX Training Courses are the highest quality training courses available. The Simunitions that you use can vary, and give you a wide range of training to enhance your expertise. This is mainly used for training in the USMC and the training SESAMS.

Securiblank systems are used for increased safety and basic training. They are used with guns designed for simunition and fire blanks exclusively.

Greenshield cartridges are used as a training with a lethal non-toxic lead free round. While these are lethal they are not designed to be shot at any of the people in the environment. They are strictly for training use on dummies.

DragonFly is a grenade simulator that is designed to have a smaller impact when training, and reduces cost of repairing training grounds. These are available in various weights from light, medium, and heavy. It can be used in Force on Force training and provides exceptional training.

Simunitions are not currently available for purchase to anyone outside of the Military or police force, and they must be certified to purchase such systems. Simunition systems are highly recommended for any training group however, and provide a safe way to train individuals to use a gun. You can choose lethal or non-lethal “ammunitions” but starting with the basics is always recommended. Simunitions are often more affordable than using real bullets. Real bullets and grenades often cause much more damage than the artificial simunition ones.

If you would like to train with Simunitions, certain areas may have training ranges where you can train. Typically these are only available to those in the police force or military, for security and safety purposes. Some advanced training bases may allow a normal citizen to take part in Simunition training routines.
